Honey Calcite is also known as Golden or Amber. Calcite comes from the Greek word ‘Calix’ meaning lime and is one of the most abundant minerals on earth. Calcite is Calcium Carbonate and occurs in almost every environment worldwide. It occurs in a vibrant range of colours including orange green blue Citrine and red. Most coloured calcites come from Mexico.
