Abalone Shell

In Native American cultures, the abalone shell is used as a smudge bowl to burn sage in. They believe that the abalone and sage together will carry their messages up to heaven. Using Abalone in your smudging introduces the fourth element of water, bringing the perfect balance of all four elements to your ritual.

Abalone shells are a thick seashell which shimmers with the gorgeous iridescent colors of mother-of-pearl. They hold the energy of the ocean and bring a strong, calming and healing energy, bringing connection to the sea.

Please note as each shell is a beautiful individual creation of Mother Earth, no two will be the same so they will all vary slightly in shape, colour and size, The shells we have in stock are all between 10 and 13 cm
